IAB Hong Kong first-ever Digital Awards honour outstanding digital marketing works 

Almost 300 local marketers gathered to celebrate industry excellence


(16 Jan 2023) Being one of the most active advertising associations in Hong Kong, IAB Hong Kong has held its first-ever IAB Hong Kong Digital Awards Presentation Ceremony & 2023 Annual General Meeting at Hotel ICON on 13 Jan 2023, with almost 300 marketers and industry professionals in Hong Kong, setting a momentous milestone for the association to build as one of the top-notch digital marketing platforms in Hong Kong and celebrate achievements with the best-in-class digital marketers in the city.

2022 IAB Hong Kong Digital Awards Presentation Ceremony kicked off to honour the outstanding digital marketing campaigns in Hong Kong. Sponsored by Meta, Google, Tam Jai International, Yahoo, EternityX and Hivestack, 24 judges from diverse backgrounds have reviewed almost 100 submissions to select the gold, silver and bronze winners across four categories, including the Best Use of Data and Insights, Content Innovation, Programmatic Advertising, and Video, which cover various trends of digital marketing. In addition, the “Best Digital Campaign of the Year” was awarded based on the highest scores among all four categories and the most influential in the industry.

SHISEIDO Hong Kong received 2 Gold Awards and the “Best Digital Campaign of the Year” 


Led by new 2023 - 2024 Executive Committee to drive the digital marketing industry


Last year, IAB HK organised a series of events to promote the best practices of digital marketing, topics included Career Talks, Seminars on metaverse, brand safety, privacy-first marketing, modern loyalty programs, omni-channel measurement and more. Moreover, the IAB HK Education & Career Committee has strived to educate the advanced standards to the youth, mass market and the industry through the Apprenticeship Program and HKU SPACE Certificate Course, supporting the talent and educational development of digital marketing in Hong Kong.

With the theme of “Connecting Beyond” in 2023, IAB HK is keen to build greater connections with current member companies and the next generation of leaders, and establish sustainable cooperation and partnerships with global IABs and like-minded industry associations in Hong Kong and Asia. Meanwhile, IAB HK also aims to connect advertising with other commerce aspects by reaching out to the C-Suite and Business Leaders in the new year, and to continue the commitment to deliver world-class best practice and innovation, and showcase to the industry. 

At the Annual General Meeting, IAB HK has announced the new 2023 - 2024 Executive Committee and 2023 Working Committee, who are appointed to help Hong Kong's marketers to make the most out of digital. 


2023 -2024 Executive Committee


New 2023 -2024 IAB HK Executive Committee is comprised of representatives from Brands, Platforms, Adtech and Data Companies


Kevin Huang (Carousell) is appointed as the new Chairman of IAB Hong Kong, while Anita Lam (Meta ) and Arthur Chan (Vpon Big Data Group) are appointed as the Vice Chairman. Welcome Geet Lulla (ComScore), Victor Cheng (Fyllo), Brian Hui (HSBC), Agnes Lung (TamJai International) and Matthew Chan (Yahoo) on board, bringing together the brightest mindsets across Brands, Media, Platforms, Agencies and AdTech. 


New Working Committee

With the extensive expertise and outstanding experience in the industry, the new Working Committees are composed of 44 members, who are all experienced and top talents in their areas of expertise. The five Working Committee include AdTech & Programmatic, Commerce, Content Marketing, Education & Career and Measurement.

Commerce: inspires Hong Kong businesses, big or small, to advance commerce capabilities by surfacing the trends of modern commerce strategies and showcasing the latest technology in retail and commerce


Content Marketing: aims to lead with world-class best practices of content creation & strategy across digital and mobile


Education & Career: bridges with mass audience to help them identify prospective career path in the digital marketing arena and provide best-in class training for marketers and students
